Diagno updates all the time. We’ve shipped some valuable features in the last month!
Opting in to Diagnostic Notifications
Up until now whether someone receives diagnostic emails has been down to a conversation with our friendly staff. This works, but a better solution is letting you toggle it yourself. In your Account page, on the Organisations tab, you’re now able to:
- Opt out of all diagnostic notifications
- Opt out of diagnostic notifications for specific organisations
- Opt out of diagnostic notifications for specific portfolios within organisations
You’ll need to be an Administrator, Manager or Operator within an organisation to be able to adjust this.
P.S. If you’re an Organisation Administrator, you can also manage other users’ notifications via Manage → Organisation → Users with all the same granularity. If the user has opted out of notifications completely, you’ll have to ask them to re-enable.
Battery Fault Identification V1.0
We’ve released the first round of automatically identified battery faults, and there’s already been rectifications made based on them. These faults include, but aren’t limited to:
- Battery Inactivity: Broadly, batteries should be doing something whether it’s offsetting peak demand, evening consumption, or recharging during the day. If the battery’s charge isn’t changing day-to-day, this flags it.
- Battery Overtemperature: In most electrical devices overheating can lead to equipment failures. In the case of batteries, this can lead to thermal runaway, fires and the release of dangerous gases. If the battery is getting hotter than we’d like, the system will let you know.
- Battery Overvoltage: Overvoltage is often a precursor to overheating, and regardless will lead to unexpected shutdowns. This means lost revenue, power offset and reduced lifetime.
Improvements to Mobile
If you’ve tried to use Diagno on a mobile device previously you might have noticed that it wasn’t a great experience. We wanted to improve this, and so many of our pages are significantly more navigable on a small device.
PDF Export in Custom Reports
This one’s simple. When you export a report via Reports → Custom, there’s now an option to directly export as PDF to save time spent converting it. If you still need to make adjustments, the PPTX export option is still there.
Historical Data from GoodWe
After some great conversations with GoodWe, we can now collect historical data for their devices. This will happen in the background for all self-onboarded sites.
